In the pink

Today I peed on a stick and got two pink lines. The first positive pregnancy test I've ever had.

I am one smug motherfucker today.

I showed it to Paul, who was skeptical. (It's his job to keep me pragmatic, and I love him for it. Really. Stop laughing.) "Are you sure the shot's out of your system yet?" he asked.

Reasonably sure, since today is 9 days past transfer. But just to be one the safe side, I stole out like a thief this afternoon and bought three more pregnancy tests to use on the sly.

If you feel like you have had a miscarriage? but took a pregnancy test again, will it still read posistive because the pregnacy hormone is still in your body?

I've been pregnant 11 times but never made it past 7 weeks. my most recent was June 04 i lost the baby 24 of July and now I am late by a couple of days but I'm scared to take a test I can't go through another loss.

I was pregnant a few months ago and I miscarriaged but my period was normal after that so...I was supposed to have my period by the end of the month but it's already the the 7th of June and I use protection with my boyfriend. I also have been experiencing white discharge and increased appitite and also I am so exhausted whem I wake up. Could I be pregnant or is it just stress?

my last menstruation was delayed for five days and when it came, my discharge was only for a day and a half. there was heavy flow on the first day but on the second, the flow is only light and brownish. today is the 15th day of my cycle and i am having a discharge of brownish spots. what could this mean?

I had an overwhelming feeling I was pregnant, took a test which was faintly 2 pink lines, then last week I had really bad period pain and my period was quite clotted, when I went to the toilet a finger nail size bloody blob came out, did I lose the baby? I have been through alot of stress and was even taking hospital due to having to many pain killers could this have done harm to the baby?

Hello everyone. I have not had a period since Oct. I think the first day of my last period was October 20, 2005. I am not exactly sure about that. I have not had a period since than and I have taken 3 HPT(home pregnancy test) and they all were negative. I believe I am pregnant but everyone is telling me that it could be hormones. I am not sure. I'm 11 days past my IVF transfer and had a blood pregnancy test today. The nurse called to say it was a positive test but that my levels were only 10. What does this all mean? Am I pregnant or not? Will I have a miscarriage?

hi, I am 15 days past egg retrieval, and still a negative HPT. I am feeling very down, since I had 3 embryos transferred (because of advanced age) but maybe none 'took'?

Has anyone ever had a negative and then a BFP a few days later?? (I am now 12 days past transfer)

It was our one and probably only shot at IVF, since the UK cost is exorbitant!!

Any advice?

My period is not due for another 6 days and my breast have been sore for a week. I have been having some discharge and minor cramping for about 5 days. I my face has been breaking out like crazy. I know these can all be signs that you are pregnant. I think I am only a week and two days pregnant. But, all my test say negative is this normal?

I am 36. I had my tubes tied in 97' because I lived with a aunt and uncle who were hard on me. I have sinced married and I am very depressed because I want to give my husband a child. The problem is my tubes. I found places who will untie them but the cost is from $5k - $6k. (No financing). Does anyone know of a place that will finance this process? My husband has no children and I want to give him one or two.

My fiance and I have unprotected sex.My last period was January 2,2006,which now makes it 2 months since I had one.I also have been bloated in the abdominal area and feeling nauseated.I went to the doctor Saturday and took an urine test but it came back negative.I was told to take a blood test to be sure.If that comes back negative what is possibly wrong with me.Today makes a year that I had a miscarriage.Help me please.

You can go and get a quanitive blood test from your doctor or the health department. THey are the most accurate at detecting even the smallest amount of HCG. Good Luck!

I was 20 days late and had taken 3 hpt and they all said negative so I went to the doc had a blood test and it was positve but the HCG was only at a 6 and they tell you anything 5 and under is negative they had me come back 48hours later and take another one and it was 16 they say in needs to dubble every 48hours but 72hours after that I miscarriged. I had been trying to get pregnant for a year, is there anything that you can do to keep from miscarring?

Hello, I have a 26-28 day cycle in between periods. The last few months I've had 26 days. Then last month it was 28. I missed my period on the 28th day and yesterday. Then last night I had very light pink spots when I wiped myself. I tried again a few hours later and nothing. Then I went to bed and woke up in the morning and it's still light. My husband and I went to take a urine test at the hospital and the test result came out as "very low positive"..what are my chancs of pregnancy? We have been trying since October of 2005. I'm having a hard time with my ex-bf. I suppose to get my period on May 8th, which I have no clue knowing if I am pregnant, cause I'm so panic and and can't think right. My ex-bf and I talked, but he wanted me have abortion if I am pregnant, which I can't stand hearing that, cause I'm against to it. So finally today, I thought I had my period, I got confuse cause I never had my period come that way. It came out brown, possible a little pink, but it wasn't heavy. This is our first time and we've just been thru the whole IVF cycle & had transfer 12 days ago, ive no period yet, but plenty of cramps/pain, breast tenderness and severe bloating, which im concerned about! Home pregnancy day 10 was positive, blood test will be in two days, in which im expecting a positive result. My concern is an ectopic pregnancy which i have been thru before naturally, am i at higher risk because of my past history?

Hello. My periods are normally 24-30 days apart. My fiance and I had sex everyday after my period up until the 10th..then again around the 13th-15th. My breasts have been hurting for the past 3 or 4 days and I've been having a white thick discharge. I've been really tired as well. MILENA- most people ovulate 14 days after their period. And also remember, that if your body skips ovulation a month, you dont get your period... look at some other websites.. like babyzone.com, babycenter.com good luck!

I had sex on Memorial day morning I am on birth Control but I take it at 9:oo p.m every night.

you could be pregnant, because spotting can mean that your embryo is being implanted in your uterus. However, it could also mean your not pregnant and maybe you have a light flow because your stressed out. stress can play a role too. I suggest you go to a doctor, or a clinic and hopefully everything works out for you, good luck!

Trying for a baby, My last period ended on may 31. My cycle is every 20 days without question. Trying for a baby no. 2 with hubby. had sex on june 10. I am spotting today and I am really errated with my husband and I don't know why. And know I am cramping. Not due for period until june 20. Should I expect the period at all?

People can get pregnant before the big O. Sperm can live for a couple of days. You gan get pregnant just before the big O. It is a false that the day of the big O. You can get pregnant. Four days that lead up to the big O. You can get pregnant. Good luck!

Hi, I need some advice I haven't had a period in about 5 months. I haven't really had any pregnancy symptoms but I have noticed patches of darker skin and a scar that I have on my stomach got alot darker, I have read that this could be a sign of pregnacy. I have taken two test they were both neg but that was a couple of months ago, I did have a somewhat irregular periods when I was younger but it has been pretty regular since I was 17, I am nearly 21 now. I haven't been to the doctor either because I am sortof scared of the result, be it good or bad. Could I be pregnant? If anyone can give me some advice please

Ive been with my b/f for 3 months now. Sometimes when we have sex we use the withdrawl method. The first month i was with him and did this my period was on time. The second month was 3 days early and this month im 3 days late and still havent gotten my period. I have the PMS symtoms and some cramps but no blood. I am under alot of stress and this past month i havent been taking my anti-depressant meds regularly. Do you think im pregnant or could i be late because im not taking my medication regularly? You need to go to the doctor because if you havent had your period for that long and you are over the 17 year of age . And have a spot on you. It doesnt matter if you get a negitive test and you still think you are pregnant. Because im almost 5 months and ive had 3 negitive test and still have my period but you need to seriously go to the doctor because it sounds like you are 5-6 months pregnant ok good luck

My last period was June 19, 2006. I have had all the symptoms. I had one positive preg test and about 10 negative. Went to the doctor on July 26th and had blood test. It was inconclusive. Told me to retest on the 31st of July. I got my results on the 2nd of August. Negative. Doc wants me to take progesteron pills to make my period come on. I leave prescription at pharmacy and plan to pick it up later. Later that afternoon I start throwing up like crazy. I had to leave work. Never did pick up my prescription. The next day, same time, I start throwing up again. Gassy, bloated - plain miserable. On Saturday the 5th of August my boyfriend says he still thinks im preggo and gets me a digital test. Sunday morning I use the test and it is bright blue positive light. Cannot mistake this reading! So now I'm wondering what the heck. I will phone my doctor tomorrow and see about another blood test. I am feeling so pregnant- I've got two children already and had a miscarriage in between their two pregnancies. I know what I'm feeling. I would be about 2 months and a bit along. Trust your instincts. If you don't agree tell them and keep testing! I'll let you know how things turn out tomorrow. Baby dust for those who want it! Strength and compassion for those who don't.

To inform you all a little of whats i have been going thru. i have been on omifin (clomid) for about 3-4 cycles. unfortunatly nothing yet this month looking at my ovulation calendar i am suppose to ovulate in from the 11 thru the 16 or so of august since i had last my period onthe 26 of july. I have been reading alot of bulletins on babyzone.com about how they have infertility and how much money it cost.. I was wondering should i give this a last shot and try looking into infertility or should i keep trying to conceive on omifin? i am scared to make another appointment to the docotr because of what he might say.. and Im not sure if my insurance covers it... Please if you can advise me on what i can do.. I am 23 yrs old my husband is 31 and we are both worried and confused. We dont know what the next step should be.

hello, when i got pregnant its was very bad i had the morning sickness very hard and yeah i was having that white discharge and when i went to my first ckeck up the doctor told me that it was a yeast infection that the pregnancy was giving me so they gave me this white cream to put on my self for seven days and it went away so girls if you have thet white discharge go to the doctor because it wont go away by it self i know how it feels and it sucks but anyway just coming by to let you know why ws that white discharge and yeah it looks loke cottage chesse.........

I'm shocked to see that there is so many of you out there with the same questions I've been asking my self for the past weeks.I had sex with my boyfriend a day after my period,which started on the 7th of August and ended the 12th,I've been having white discharge and lower back pain, like it would normally be a couple of days before my period. september 3rd my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex, but he pulled out. but i've been having weird stomach feelings and i've felt sick but not to the point to where I have been throwing up. so he gave me the pills and make my period come..but i dare not take cause i have a friend with same experience. when doc cant see anything in scan he gave her pills on the spot and ask her to take she ended up miscarriage cause the scan cannot detect as yet...

well I just moved into an appartment with a new girl and she told me that a few years back she had a baby but because of a "strange cancer" that ran in her family she died when she was 2 when she moved in with me she was a few months pregnant yet again. i think i may be pregnant. my lmp was 26th Aug,i have done hundreds of urine tests and they were coming back with faint positives so i was excited and decided to confirm this with a cb digital test and that flashed NOT PREGNANT, so i went to the doc and she sent me for a blood test and that came back neg, i just really want to know if i am, my nipples are a little sensitive and i am heaving when brushing my teeth and feeling sick when i am not eating and at 6pm onwards, i have lower back ache and occasional headaches and i am not sleeping very well at night oh and the obv weeing loads. antone else with the same prob? i am 24 married with 2 other children. thanx

Each time I got pregnant, I knew I was pregnant before the test - simply because I couldn't bear the smell of coffee and my boobs went rock hard! I had 3 miscarriages before having my 3 gorgeous daughters (one is 17 today!!). I miscarried for two reasons - 1. My body rejected boys and 2. my body wasn't building a healthy placenta because of hormonal deficiencies! After scans at 5 weeks to ensure the pregnancies were viable, I had HCG injections for 1st 14 weeks of each pregnancy. All my babies were born healthy after that and I didn't lose any more. Just this month I noticed that my period was different than usual it was I would bleed one day and then I stopped completely and then the next day I would spot a brownish red and then the following day I would be a pinkish color and I haven't had my period since I have been having unprotected sex. I have been experiencing the pregnancy symptoms and I would test and it came back negative. If I am expecting I would like to know about how far along I am. I feel nauseous some mornings and I have been experiencing some breast tenderness and I have been having to urinate more frequently. I am bloated and I feel really tired one day last week and this past week I slept all day, which is unusual for me. I have also experienced some headaches that come and go. I have talked to some friends and they experienced similar symptoms when they were pregnant and they took a test that came back negative from the home pregnancy and the doctor. If anybody can help me I would appreciate it. I feel that I am pregnant I am planning to go to the gynecologist soon.

I have been reading alot of your comments and instead of emailing can answer a few of the same I have been noticing. About 50 percent of women excperience some kind of spotting during atleast there first "missed period". They suposently have tests that can tell 5 days before your missed period. If you beleive your pregnant. These tests most likley are effective for some maybe even most women. For me whenever testing if I tested in the first week of my missed period it never came out positive. But the end of the second week it would. For all other women I would suggest waiting until your missed period or when ever you feel comfortable. Buy a 2 test pregnancy kit many come with 2 these days so look around. If it is negative wait 1-2 weeks after that time of missed period and your first test to test agin. The rest of my response would not fit here but you can email with any other questions.

my husband and i are trying to start a family of our own . my periode started on the 15th of dec and end on the 21st.on the 22nd to the 24th we had been like two rabbits stuck in a blizzard just about all day and night. my stomach started cramping really bad on the 25th and i started to get a bright to a light pink discharge !!! with a queasy stomach that comes and goes and constantly running to the bathroom could that be a early sign that im pregnate ?

My boyfriend and i have always had protected sex, but any time we have intercourse only he gets off, and i feel like i will but never come close. Same with oral sex. And i do sometimes MB myself. But lately i havent been able to get myself off by myself, or get off when he does it for me... Could this be a problem?

i had unprotected sex 2 days after my period...i then started my pill...i missed my second pill and had unprotected sex again...i made up for the missed pill and took 2 the following day.it is 16 days now since i have been taking the pill and i have been spotting for 3 days now...I'm i pregnant

Icsi (ivf first cycle) its 11 days since embryo transfer and i dont find out my prgnancy result till this friday and i am a little scared i have had very sore breasts and the last couple of days some pain in the stomach feels like a period pain coming Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome i would like to hear from people in the same situation.

Ok so i have had two previous miscarriages, all ending in 10 weeks of pregnancy,Well im 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant...... Now mind you me and my boyfriend had just had sex and i started having pains and i went upstairs to go to the bathroom and got this big glob like discharge with my normal Discharge, im not sure what i should do and if i should be worried. Hi...My name is Koni i am about 7 weeks preagnant...i misscared my first two times my first time.. i was 3 months to the day and my second time i was 9 weeks....i had pains my first two pregnancys but this one i have not had many pains at all so i am hoping that this is a good sign...i went to the hopital cause i end up having a veiw light pains and i did not want to take any risk... after i was there for about 6 hours they admitted me they said that they did not see the sac and that they wanted to make sure that it was not a tubal pregnancy....as i went to they top floor to be admitted the nure said that they are planing on giving me a dnc in the morning and i knew that my baby was still alive.. but they were going to check my hormone levels first...i got the result in the morning and my hormone were progressing which means that my baby is growing...i went right away to another hopital about and hour away....they have special list there for people that have miscaried many times....the doctors there did so many more test told me that i have an abnormal uterus...and that my cervixs is really close to my vashinal area..which is what causes pain when i have inner corse....but they said that none of that should cause my baby any harm...i got more blood work to see if my hormone levels are still doubling every day and they said that they had doubled which is great news now i have my first doctors appointment on april 9th then i will get to see i my baby is still living... which i believe that it will be...the reasoning for me sharing this with everyone is for one...never let anyone tell you that your baby is not going to live unless you go and get a second appinion..two i need all the prayer i can get so if someone out there could do that for me i would be more than greatful...i will up date you guys later when i get more news...

I had an abortion when i was 17. Now i am 21 and have been trying for 2 years now,My periods are usually 4-6 days but for the past 3 months they have been only 1-2 days starting out pink then brown then red then ending abruptly. I have never had a regular period. I have been on medication for 4 years and in the past 4 years, i have had my period maybe 5 or 6 times. But lasy month (March) and the month before that, I got it. They both happened during the beginning of the month. I hadn't had sex in four years until I met my new boyfriend and in the past 3 weeks, we've had sex...a lot of it... and we didn't use a condom and I'm not on BC. He pulled out everytime though. Well, I havent gotten my period for this month and it's already the 10th. I dont know if I should be worried since my cycle is far from dependable. I really don't want to be pregnant, not yet. I'm on methadone and I'm weaning myself off of it. Neither of us are ready for a child. I wonder if I'm being paranoid, is it the stress of worrying over it that has kept my peiod late? Everytime I get scared, I dont get my period until after i take a test, then once i see i'm not pregs, i get my period. I sometimes feel like I'm about to get it, I get some cramps and my breasts are very tender. I get a little clear discharge every now and then, but i figure it's cuz I hadn't had sex in soooo long and now my boyfriend got me all heated up. I want to know, is there any way to hurry up my period, are there any vitamins or pills I can take that will make it come, just so I can stop worrying? So why do my breast hurt? Why do I have a clear discharge, then go dry? Why is it late when the past 2 months it was here? Please tell me what I can do to get my period.

IV been trying to get pregnant.
I dont know if these are symptoms of pregnancy or pre menstral.
My period seems late, but I forgot when I last had it. I cant remember if it was the 2nd of March or the 10th!My cycle has been 30-32 days all year, but I have a history of it changeing into 42 days long, but its been a year.so I dont know if my cycle was just changeing or what.
and plus, I usualy pee like normaly every 2 hours,butfor the past 2 weeks, I have to pee like every hour , I pee alot .And I eat lots of pickles,mabee that part is just me in my head, and I get nausea,but havent thrown up, that could be just in my head too, but when i leaned on my stomache at work, I felt a sharp pain and movement of my abs, like I was pregnant or something.It was weird,mabee just gas, I dont know.Im just tired of wondering if Im pregnant!

i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on thursday march 22nd/23rd and also on april 3rd.(my period before that was on the 22nd of feb)i didnt get my period till sunday april 29th.but between that time and till now, i was and still am having mild cramps in my lower abdomen, shooting pains frm my belly button, excessive white mucusy discharge, having to urinate a lot, and my face is breaking out badly.when i started my period sunday(04/29) it startd off light(like i was only spotting) then the next day is when it came on a lil more. well ive had a medium period this week.n my breast are still sore.have been sore for the past 3weeks. pregnant? i dnt knw. i could be.im almost positive i am, so im going to the doctors next week to see.i have patience n wanna see more change.but i also wanna knw now. ***Note: i took a prego test about 3weeks ago.(to be exact on 04/15). it was negative but i only waited about 30seconds.me and my cousin saw negative and threw it in the trash.

I am 38 weeks into my pregnancy and i look and feel like a blowfish. I have tried everything that I have heard to help induce labor... castor oil, walking ALOT, drinking alot of water, sex, raspberry tea, massages, warm candlelit baths....everything... but yesterday I did it ALL. My aunt called me about 2 days ago and told me that she had a dream that I was going to go into labor at 2:00 that morning... last night at exactly 2:00 i went to use the restrooom and return to bed, then I started having contractions alot milder than what they usually are, i got up this morning and went to the restroom again and my urine was pinkish and there was a big white chunk in my urine. Does this mean Im in labor, if not is there something wrong?

I am a nineteen year old college student.

Approximately three weeks ago, a boyfriend and I attempted to have intercourse. He was wearing a condom at the time but, it didn't have enough lubricant on the outside and hurt me really bad. After a few attempts at intercourse, we decided to give up. He didn't ejaculate into me and I didn't orgasm but, I am wondering if I could be pregnant? I have never done this before (I am a virgin) so, I am really scared! Also, my period didn't start on the fourteenth like it was supposed to (today is the sixteenth). However, I took a pregnancy test on the fifteenth and it came out negative. I am so scared! Could I have gotten pregnant?!
