I extra-super-really adore this quilt over at Metrosupial's — I think it's just the thing for the wedding quilt I need to make by August. After all, what's not to love? I get to visit my favorite fabrics while breezing through some easy piecing, and end up, I hope, with something gorgeous.
I've already pulled out the fabrics I want to use. I have a whole bunch of Kaffe Fassett prints that should be perfect, and I've spiked them with some Pop Garden, Chocolate Lollipop, and assorted Amy Butler prints for flavor.
My rule is that each print should be very colorful, even the lights — harder to do than I'd have thought. My current plan is to arrange my triangles in a zigzag, but I'll have to stitch some up and play with them on a design wall before I make a final decision.
Uh...not that I've finished the quilt I'm currently working on, of course. That'd be plumb damn crazy.
